By designing your treatment sessions specifically to your needs and concerns, we will work together towards maintaining your wellness.  

Each person is unique in the way they hold tension. Therefore, April is consciously and intuitively adjusts touch, pressure and technique until she can feel the muscles releasing and both the body and mind relax. 

April truly believes the state of mind and heart of the therapist clearly influences the relaxing and healing quality of the massage. Therefore, she endeavors to bring to each session a peacefulness and a healing presence.

Theresa Tuohy, LMT #3952, Nationally Certified

Meet Your Therapist

Theresa has been practicing massage since 2004. She first became acquainted with Swedish Style, Deep Tissue and Energy Healing techniques after attending the Cypress Health Institute in Santa Cruz, California.

In 2007, she attended the Bodhi Tree Center for Healing Arts, in her home town of Carson City, to get extensive therapeutic massage training. This added education facilitated her to become Nationally Certified in 2009.

In 2011, she attended the School of Shiatsu and Massage in Middletown, CA to learn the aquatic massage modality of Watsu. She currently holds her Watsu Provider certificate.

Theresa has over 1000 hours of training and continues to expand her knowledge, so that she may inspire her clients and offer good tools to people seeking a healthier lifestyle. She is delighted to serve her community.
